Directed by Emily Burns (Dear Octopus), this critically acclaimed new revival of Noel Coward's irresistible comedy stars two-time Tony Award winner Christine Baranski (The Gilded Age, Mamma Mia) and Academy Award nominee Richard E. Grant (Celebrity Traitors, The Other Bennet Sister) as Judith and David Bliss. Since opening at the Wyndham's Theatre last month, it has been praised as ‘fun and frothy revival’ (London Theatre) and a ‘winning star vehicle for both Grant and Baranski’ (The Standard).

Written in 1924 and premiering in the West End in 1925, Hay Fever remains one of Noel Coward's most popular and frequently performed works even a century after it first premiered. This masterclass of a comedy of bad manners follows an eccentric couple, retired actress Judith and novelist David Bliss, and their grown children Simon and Sorel, living in an English country house. When each family member invites an unexpected guest to their home for the weekend, their self-centred and outlandish behaviour drives their guests into confusion and inevitably leads to chaos and hilarity.

Hay Fever is currently playing at Wyndham's Theatre until 12 December 2026.
