Jeevan, who made his professional stage debut in the London production when it returned last summer, returns to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express from today, 25 June 2025.

His performance in the show earned him the accolade of Best Performer in a Musical at The Stage Debut Awards 2024 and the Whatsonstage Award for Best Professional Debut.
Jeevan Braich will return to the role of Rusty in place of Gavin Adams, who is taking some time off from the show due to a recent shoulder injury.
The current cast of Starlight Express includes Sophie Naglik (Back to the Future The Musical) as Pearl, Olivia Ringrose as Greaseball, Asher Forth as Electra and Georgia Pemberton (Matilda The Musical) as Dinah, Jade Marvin as Momma McCoy and Jaydon Vijn as Hydra.

The musical follows the story of a child’s toy train, which comes to life, transforming it into a dazzling race where steam, diesel, and electric engines battle to prove who is the fastest in the world. At its heart is Rusty, a humble steam train determined to prove his worth against sleek, modern rivals—fueled by hope, heart, and the legendary power of the Starlight Express.
Starlight Express is currently booking at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre until 1 March 2026.
