Other new names to the show include Sarah Alexander (Jonathan Creek) as Peter's wife Debbie and Nick Sampson (Witness for the Prosecution) will play The Neighbour. Frances Barber (Silk) returns to play the role of everyone's favourite serial killer Elsa Jean Krakowski.
What is THE UNFRIEND about?
Peter and his wife Debbie are an uptight middle-class couple who go on a cruise holiday and meet Elsa, a balmy old American who in turn invites herself to stay with the couple for a week.
The play takes a hilarious and satirical look into middle-class England's disastrous instinct to always appear nice.
THE UNFRIEND was first performed in Chichester at the Minerva in May 2022 before a West End transfer to the Criterion Theatre in January 2023.
