The original cast members from the National Theatre and Broadway productions will return to reprise their roles in London for a limited run starting 11 February 2025.
Stars from the original National Theatre and Broadway production of Hadestown.
Heading to the Lyric Theatre will be Reeve Carney (Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark) as Orpheus, André De Shields (The Full Monty, Broadway) as Hermes, Amber Gray (Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812, Broadway) as Persephone, Eva Noblezada (Miss Saigon, Prince Edward Theatre) as Eurydice and Patrick Page (The Lion King, Broadway) as Hades.
Further casting for performances from 11 February 2025 will be announced soon.
With music, lyrics, and book by acclaimed Tony and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell, Hadestown reimagines the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone, in a modern, industrial-inspired setting. It tells the story of love, sacrifice, and resistance as Orpheus journeys to the underworld to save Eurydice, challenging the power of Hades and the inevitability of fate.
The cast will reprise their roles from 11 February until 9 March 2025.
