Starting on 27 August 2024, Dylan Wood (No Love Songs) will take on the role of Orpheus in Hadestown, while Madeline Charlemagne (The Secret Life of Bees), who previously played a Fate in the production, will now step into the role of Eurydice. Francessca Daniella-Baker (My Fair Lady) will join them, who will become one of the three Fates, alongside Allie Daniel and Bella Brown.
Dónal Finn and Grace Hodgett Young will leave the West End production on 25 August.

With music, lyrics, and book by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell, Hadestown reimagines the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, intertwining it with the tale of Hades and Persephone. Set in a dystopian, industrial underworld, the musical explores the tension between hope and despair as Orpheus undertakes a perilous journey to rescue Eurydice from the depths of the underworld.
Hadestown is booking at the Lyric Theatre until 9 February 2025.
