After the storming success of The Play That Goes Wrong, the team behind the West End hit has announced that their new show Peter Pan Goes Wrong will play at the Apollo Theatre from 4 December 2015 to 31 January 2016.
The original cast of The Play That Goes Wrong, which has just celebrated its first year in the West End, will helm the production of Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Henry Lewis, Dave Hearn, Henry Shields, Nancy Wallinger, Greg Tannahill, Charlie Russell and Jonathan Sayer will return to wow audiences with their particular brand of comic chaos.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong will once again see The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society tackle every possible technical mishap and flying disaster as they perform J.M. Barrie’s classic children’s story set in the magical Never Never Land.
The Play That Goes Wrong began life at the London Fringe venue The Old Red Lion, before transferring to the Duchess Theatre last year. The production has also announced an extension to its booking period, now playing through to 11 September 2016.
The plays producer Kenny Wax said in a statement ‘We are quite staggered to be celebrating the first birthday of The Play That Goes Wrong with the announcement of an extension to the booking period which will take us to the end of two years in the West End - so we are now doubly thrilled to be presenting Peter Pan Goes Wrong at the same time’.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong will open at the Apollo Theatre on 4 December 2015 and run over the festive season, closing on 31 January 2016.
