PRETTY WOMAN sets closing date and announces new cast

Big news from PRETTY WOMAN:THE MUSICAL, huge news in fact, as the show has announced it will be closing on 18 June 2023.

It will then head off on a UK and Ireland tour from 17 October 2023, starting at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre.

Before it heads off on tour, Pretty Woman is welcoming a new addition to its cast. Oliver Tompsett will join the production from 4 April as Edward Lewis. Tompsett will play this role until the musical's final West End show on the 18 June.

He is currently starring as Shakespeare in &Juliet, and has previously played multiple lead roles including Charlie Price in Kinky Boots, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Galileo in We Will Rock You and Fiyero in Wicked.

The show currently stars: Aimie Atkinson as Vivian Ward, Danny Mac as Edward Lewis (until 2 April 2023), Courtney Bowman as Kit De Luca and Andy Barke as Happy Man/Mr Thompson.

The cast is completed by John Addison, Jemma Alexander, Becky Anderson, Matt Bateman, Patrick Barrett, Robertina Bonano, Oliver Brenin, Alex Charles, Daniel Clift, Ben Darcy, Hannah Ducharme, Elishia Edwards, Tom Andrew Hargreaves, Antony Hewitt, Helen Hill, Mark Holden, Elly Jay, Matt Jones, Kurt Kansley, Georgia Kleopa, Annabelle Laing, Will Luckett, Curtis Patrick, Hassun Sharif, Cilla Silvia and Charlotte Elisabeth Yorke.

Featuring original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, the book is written by Garry Marshall and the original film's screenwriter J.F. Lawton. It is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell.
