The award-winning musical will return to the stage following the acclaimed, sold-out concert performances of the show which took place last summer.

Something Rotten! will make its UK premiere in 2026.
With a book by John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick and music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick, plans for the initial UK premiere were cancelled during the pandemic.
Last summer a concert version of the production was staged at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and starred an epic line up, including renowned performer Jason Manford.
Set in 1595, Something Rotten! follows the Bottom brothers, Nick and Nigel, who struggle to find success in the theatrical world as they compete with the wild popularity of their contemporary, William Shakespeare. As they fight to finally get one up on their rival, they come up with a novel idea to write the world's first ever musical.
All production information, including dates and cast, will be announced in due course.
