Beetlejuice the Musical, which opened in the West End on 20 May 2026, is a musical adaptation of Tim Burton's 1988 film, in which the wickedly funny bio-exorcist Beetlejuice sets out to help the recently deceased Barbara and Adam Maitland haunt their old house and scare off its new inhabitants, the Deetz family, only to quickly become obsessed with their cynical, death-obsessed teenage daughter Lydia Deetz.

Summer Strallen, whose extensive West End roles include Top Hat, Love Never Dies, Young Frankenstein, The Sound of Music, The Drowsy Chaperone and CATS, will play the endlessly optimistic, crystal-obsessed life coach, Delia Deetz, for a strictly limited run from Monday 3 August to Monday 2 November 2026. She will take over the role from Aimie Aitkinson, who will be taking a short break from the production to make her Broadway debut, reprising her Olivier Award-nominated role as Katherine Howard in SIX: The Musical at the Lena Horne Theatre. She will return to Beetlejuice on Wednesday 3 November 2026.

Strallen joins current cast members David Fynn as Beetlejuice, Hannah Nordberg as Lydia Deetz, David Hunter as Adam Maitland, Chelsea Halfpenny as Barbara Maitland, Alasdair Harvey as Charles Deetz, Chasity Crisp as Maxine Dean / Juno, Richard Frame  as Otho, Irvine Iqbal as Maxie Dean, Rachel Macdougall as Girl Scout, and Vanessa Aurora Sierra as Miss Argentina.

Beetlejuice the Musical is currently playing at the Prince Edward Theatre until Saturday 17 April 2027.
