Featuring a score by Rob Rokicki and a book by Joe Tracz, The Lightning Thief will run from 23 November to 2 February at The Other Palace.
The story follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he is a demigod, the son of Poseidon. Percy embarks on an epic quest with his friends to prevent a war among the Greek gods by recovering Zeus's stolen lightning bolt. Along the way, they confront mythical creatures, navigate personal challenges, and uncover their own strengths and identities.
The show premiered off-Broadway in 2014, before embarking on two US tours, a second off-Broadway run and a 16-week Broadway season in 2019. The show's UK premiere will be directed and choreographed by Lizzi Gee.
Casting and further creatives are to be announced.
