TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) will transfer to the Criterion Theatre in the West for a limited run from 4 April - 14 July.

Directed by Tim Jackson, written by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan and designed by Soutra Gilmour, the new British musical has been captivating audiences at the Kiln Theatre where it has had a 10-week sold-out run. The transfer will mark Jackson, Barne, and Buchan's West End debuts.

Olivier award-winner Sam Tutty (Dear Evan Hansen) and Dujonna Gift (Hamilton) will continue to lead the musical on its transfer.

What is TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) about?

TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) focuses on Dougal and Robin.

Dougal is a naive, impossibly upbeat Brit who is flying to his Dad's second wedding in New York. The Dad he's never known.

Waiting for him at the airport is the sister of the bride, Robin. She's a New Yorker, naive and she's late for work. Is there instant attraction between the pair? definitely not, but with an extravagant wedding on the horizon and the city at their feet - anything could happen.
