Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula The Sea Witch in London
We all know the story of The Little Mermaid: a mermaid falls in love with a human prince and sells her voice in exchange for legs. But now it's time to hear Ursula's side of the story. The outrageous, outlandish, and gleefully wicked sea witch takes over this classic fairy tale to tell audiences all the juicy gossip behind what actually happened under the sea when Ariel struck her fateful bargain. And her story is every bit as saucy and scandalous as Ursula herself. You'll never look at The Little Mermaid the same way again. We all love a good villain, and now that Maleficent and Cruella have had their turns to tell their tales on the screen, it's Ursula's moment to shine.
Fresh off its sold-out stints at Edinburgh Fringe, this hilarious parody musical is directed by Robyn Grant, with a book and lyrics by Grant and Daniel Foxx, music by Tim Gilvin and choreography by Melody Sinclair. In this wickedly clever reimagining of the classic fairy tale, LGBTQ+ icon Ursula serves us nonstop entertainment with a filthy pop soundtrack, beloved characters as you've never seen them before, and plenty of glitter in this sordid tale of sex, sorcery, and suckers. Audiences won't be able to get enough of Ursula, one of the most memorable and legendary of Disney's collection of villains.
If you love The Little Mermaid and you have a soft spot for villains, don't miss your chance to see the sea witch onstage.

Not as funny as I expectedAfter hearing raving reviews from friends I had high expectations for this show. Some of it was lost on me as I never watched the little mermaid movie ( I’m in my mid 50s and have no children) Luckily I went for a nice Neapolitan pizza afterwards.

Incredible talent from everyone on and off stage, loved every minute. Was totally blown away by the whole performance. Bought very last minute tickets, (took 2 of the only 4 seats left) and didn’t know anything about the show. The singing and acting from everyone was absolutely fantastic and the lines were hilarious and so clever. We loved every minute and are thinking of taking some other friends we know would love it. Costumes and staging also excellent, a truly great show. I’ve always loved The Other Palace but haven’t been back for a while. So pleased we did!
