Following a world premiere at Cheltenham in 2022, The Great British Bake Off Musical hits the West End’s Noel Coward Theatre on 25th February 2023, with a current end date of 13th May 2023. Will it extend? If the musical proves (pun intended!) as popular as the TV show, you never know.

The cast so far includes John Owen-Jones, who plays the judge Phil Hollinghurst, the character inspired by the scary blue-eyed handshaker of a judge Paul Hollywood. Aharon Rayner, Charlotte Wakefield, Claire Moore, Damian Humbley, Jay Saighal, Michael Cahill and Scott Paige also star. More cast members will be announced nearer the time.

And the creative team? The original book, music and lyrics are all by Jake Brunger and Pippa Cleary. Rachel Kavanaugh directs. The choreography is by Georgina Lamb, with set, costume and cake designs by Alice Power. The lighting design comes from Ben Cracknell, and sound design is by Ben Harrison.
