Kimberly Akimbo in London

Lonely New Jersey teen Kimberly Levaco has a rare and unusual disease that causes her body to age at four times the normal rate, which means she's forced to navigate high school looking like a woman in her seventies while playing the adult to her immature parents Buddy and Patty. But it also means her time is running out, and Kimberly is determined to make the most of it. Soon she's swept into an odd friendship with awkward nerd Seth and a white collar crime scheme hatched by her freewheeling Aunt Debra.

Kimberly Akimbo is a new musical from Tony Award-winner and Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire and Tony Award-winner Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home, Titanic), which has won five Tony Awards including Best Musical. Full of hope, humour, and heart, this quirky coming of age story with a twist is coming to the West End for the first time after delighting Broadway audiences with its unique, inspiring, and funny storyline, unforgettable heroine, and a soundtrack filled with delightful musical numbers. Praised as “a joyous treasure” by the Guardian, Kimberly Akimbo is sure to enchant London audiences.

Don't miss the Broadway sensation about growing up and finding meaning in an unpredictable world, when it lands in London for the first time.
