English National Ballet’s Le Corsaire is “hugely enjoyable entertainment” (The Daily Telegraph). Expect a swashbuckling romp, full of thrilling dancing by an extraordinary cast of performers, with gorgeous decors and costumes created by Hollywood’s Bob Ringwood, all set to a romantic score played live by English National Ballet Philharmonic.
English National Ballet is the only UK company to perform this classic story ballet. Their extravagant production, staged by Anna-Marie Holmes, has enthralled audiences and received rave reviews worldwide, including Paris and Tokyo. It returns to the London Coliseum following glorious performances in 2016.

Didn't I would enjoy ballet, it was my first time and absolutely loved it. The dancing, music, story everything was brilliant. A must see for anyone!

I really enjoyed this ballet, the dancing was quite spectacular with plenty of wonderful roles for the male dancers which was very good as they were amazing. The costumes very beautiful and colourful, the sets and the lighting excellent. A much different ballet to the more romantic ones like Swan Lake. We were even lucky to see Tamara Rojo dancing the main female role. If this was a first ballet for anyone to have seen they would definitely be hooked.

This was our first ballet & we are both 70+ my wife had the the greatest birthday present she has ever had, ( her words ) I got it right after 50 + years of marriage !! We both enjoyed it very much!! Great theatre also.
