Mamma Mia - You Already Know You’ll Love It

The producers of Mamma Mia, the hit juke box musical featuring the music of ABBA, have put a rather clever sign up above the entrance to their theatre.
Successful both as an advertisement and a welcome to audiences it says “you already know you’re gonna love it” and I don’t think many people would dispute that.

Over 13 million people have seen this French rock musical across the world since its premiere in 1998. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy it too as long as you can accept it for what it is and understand that it was conceived to appeal to a broad international audience 20 years ago rather than the tastes of London theatregoers today.


Fiddler on the Roof Transfers to the West End

Great news! It’s been announced that Chocolate Factory Productions, Sonia Friedman Productions and Michael Harrison will transfer The Menier Chocolate Factory’s production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, as directed by Trevor Nunn, to the Playhouse Theatre from 21 March for a limited run until 15 June.
