Review: SHOW BOAT at the New London Theatre

Show Boat There's just a few weeks left to catch director Daniel Evan’s beautiful production of classic musical SHOW BOAT at the New London Theatre.

Despite amazing reviews it’s struggled to find an audience and will close at the end of the month earlier than anticipated. Perhaps it’s not a well known enough classic but a classic it most definitely is, combining beautiful songs with comedy drama and romance.

Review: THE PLOUGH AND THE STARS at The National Theatre

MD: Because it's always been a labour of love and when you love your work what is there to be negative about?

Review: JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre

Jesus Christ Superstar - Open Air Theatre Set in the picturesque surroundings of Regent's Park, the open-air theatre is a spectacle in itself, and even as you take your seat it is clear that this version of Jesus Christ Superstar is going to be very different from the arena version a few years back. Based on the most famous stories from the Bible: the week leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion, this Jesus Christ Superstar has been catapulted into the 21st century. From the stark concrete set to the Kanye West-esque costume, visually it would not have been out of place on the streets of London in 2016.
