The Royal Shakespeare Company will return to London's Barbican Theatre later this year with a season of two bittersweet plays: one magical adventure and one critically acclaimed Shakespeare transfer from Stratford-upon-Avon.
Artwork for Wendy & Peter Pan and Twelfth Night.
This exciting new season of work will run from 21 October 2025 to 17 January 2026.
Kicking off the season will be Wendy & Peter Pan, an exhilarating new take on JM Barrie's beloved classic. The production will be adapted by Ella Hickson, directed by Jonathan Munby and will feature RSC Associate Artist Toby Stephens (The Forest, Hampstead Theatre) as Captain Hook.
Wendy & Peter will feature set and costumes designed by Colin Richmond and will play from 21 October to 22 November 2025.
Following on from its sold-out run in Stratford-upon-Avon, Prasanna Puwanarajah’s critically acclaimed version of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night will play in London and feature Freema Agyeman, Michael Grady-Hall and Samuel West. Featuring an original score and songs by Matt Maltese, Twelfth Night will play from 8 December 2025 to 17 January 2026 at the Barbican.
Elsewhere, the RSC continues to bring innovative work to the capital with Max Webster’s Titus Andronicus featuring BAFTA, Tony and Olivier-Award winning Simon Russell Beale heading to the Hampstead Theatre from 5 September to 11 October 2025.
Next month Liz Duffy Adams' Born with Teeth will begin its run at the West End's Wyndham's Theatre. Directed by RSC Co-Artistic Director Daniel Evans and featuring Ncuti Gatwa and Edward Bluemel, it will play from 13 August to 1 November 2025.
My Neighbour Totoro and Matilda the Musical, continue to delight audiences from across the globe in the West End too!
