Aaron MacGregor joins the West End production of OLIVER! as the Artful Dodger

Aaron MacGregor (Les Misérables) steps into the role as Artful Dodger, joining Simon Lipkin (Avenue Q) as Fagin, Ava Brennan (Hamilton) as Nancy, Aaron Sidwell (Wicked) as Bill Sikes, Billy Jenkins (Les Misérables) as the Artful Dodger, Oscar Conlon-Morrey (Only Fools and Horses The Musical) as Mr. Bumble, Katy Secombe (The Music Man as Widow Corney, Stephen Matthews (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mr. Sowerberry/Dr. Grimwig, Jamie Birkett (Mamma Mia The Party) as Mrs. Sowerberry/Mrs. Bedwin, Philip Franks (The Rocky Horror Show) as Mr. Brownlow.

The role of Oliver Twist is played by William Barker, Raphael Korniets, Isaac Nelson, and Odo Rowntree-Bailly.

Now playing at the Gielgud Theatre, Oliver! opened in the West End in January 2025 following its successful run at the Chichester Festival Theatre in 2024. It was the first revival of the musical since its last run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2009.

Adapted from Charles Dickens' classic novel, Oliver! tells the story of orphan Oliver Twist, who flees a grim Victorian workhouse and finds himself in London's shadowy underworld. There, he encounters the cunning Fagin and his band of clever pickpockets, led by Artful Dodger.

The production boasts a timeless score featuring beloved songs like "Oom Pah Pah," "As Long As He Needs Me," and more.

Performances continue at the Gielgud Theatre, where it is currently booking until 4 October 2026.
