About the Lyric Theatre
Dating back to 1888 and Shaftesbury Avenue's oldest theatre, the Lyric's interior is absolutely magnificent. Look up to see the most stunning ceiling you can imagine! Bought in 2005 by Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer, these days the venue is a member of the Nimax Theatres group. Past shows at the Lyric Theatre include Five Guys Named Mo, By Jeeves, Closer, Cabaret, Thriller Live! and Six the Musical.
