The new musical has opened at the Lyric Hammersmith, following multiple sell-out runs across Australia in recent years.

Here's your first look at Fangirls, written and composed by Yve Blake and directed by Paige Rattray.
A hilarious and subversive musical comedy, Fangirls is about the danger of underestimating teenage girls. The show follows 14-year-old Edna who is in love with a member of the world's biggest boy band.
The cast includes Jasmine Elcock [she/her] (The Crucible) as Edna, with Miracle Chance [she/her] (The Witches) as Brianna, Mary Malone [she/her] (Burnt at the Stake) as Jules, Gracie McGonigal [she/her] (The Little Big Things) as Lily, and Terique Jarrett [he/him] (Daddy) as Salty, Debbie Kurup [she/her] (The Cher Show) as Caroline, Thomas Grant [he/him] (Spring Awakening) as Harry, and Max James Hodge [he/him] as Pat/Ensemble.
The cast also features Eve De Leon Allen [they/them] (The House with Chicken) as Dom/Ensemble, Max Gill [he/she/they] (Bugsy Malone) as Greta/Ensemble, Lena Pattie Jones [she/her] as Ash/Ensemble, and Nicky Wong Rush [he/him/they/them] (The Wedding Singer) as Dancer.
Fangirls performs at the Lyric Hammersmith until 24 August 2024.
