Full company announced for HUNGER GAMES ON STAGE

The first-ever stage adaptation of Suzanne Collins's internationally acclaimed book The Hunger Games and Lionsgate's hit motion picture of the same name opens this October.

Adapted by the award-winning playwright Conor McPherson (Girl from the North Country) and directed by Matthew Dunster (2:22 - A Ghost Story), Hunger Games on Stage is being performed in a brand-new purpose built venue in Canary Wharf.

Leading the production as Katniss Everdeen is Mia Carragher. She is joined by Euan Garrett (Quadrophenia, A Mod Ballet) as Peeta Mellark, Joshua Lacey (London Tide, National Theatre) as Haymitch Abernathy, Tristan Waterson (Dear England) as Gale Hawthorne, Sophia Ally (The Hills of California) as Prim Everdeen and Ruth Everett (The View from Above)as Mrs Everdeen. Tamsin Carroll (2:22 A Ghost Story) will take on the role of Effie Trinket, alongside Stavros Demetraki (A Face in the Crowd, Young Vic) as Caesar Flickerman and Nathan Ives-Moiba (Cabaret) as Cinna

Set in a dystopian future, The Hunger Games follows a thrilling battle for survival where 24 young tributes are pitted against one another in an arena to fight to the death. Centred in the story is Katniss Everdeen, a brave and clever heroine who becomes a symbol of resistance. She fights not only to survive but also to inspire hope for a nation oppressed by a ruthless Capitol.

The Hunger Games: On Stage will begin performances at the Troubadour Canary Wharf on 20 October 2025.
