Troubadour Canary Wharf Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre?
The theatre is on Water Street, E14 5GX, in the Wood Wharf part of Canary Wharf. Canary Wharf on the Jubilee line is about seven minutes' walk, and Heron Quays on the DLR is another option; the Elizabeth line station is a similar distance. Allow a few extra minutes the first time — the walk goes through a new quarter of the estate and the signage is easier to follow than the map. There is no dedicated accessible car park, but there is a drop-off point.
Is the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre accessible?
Yes, and being a modern building it is easier than most. Access is step free, and accessible seating is spread through the auditorium rather than confined to one corner, for visitors who transfer and for those who stay in their chair. Accessible toilets and a hearing enhancement system are provided, and trained guide dogs are welcome. Captioned and audio-described performances are scheduled for each run. Because the auditorium is reconfigured from production to production, the seating blocks and the wheelchair positions change with the show — so book through the access team, who will know the layout for the run you are coming to.
