Jason Robert Brown's Drama Desk Award-winning cult classic of a musical was first seen in 2001 and wowed off-Broadway the following year. The 2004 film starred Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan. Now The Last Five Years is opening at the Garrick Theatre for a limited extended run, opening on Thursday 23rd September and running until 17 October 2021. This is the first time this magical musical has enjoyed a long run in theatreland, and we can't wait!

Who’s involved in The Last Five Years?

The Southwark Playhouse production of The Last Five Years was nominated for an extraordinary eight Offie Awards and won two, one for Best Director and the other for Best Musical Production. Oli Higginson was nominated for a Stage Debut Award as Jamie. It's a brand new production of this powerfully emotional play that follows two New Yorkers as they fall in and out of love over five years. You'll adore the unusual way the story is presented.
