Newsies The Musical London Update for Disney’s Newsies at the Troubador Wembley Park Theatre

At last! Now we know the venue for the UK premiere of Newsies. It’s taking place at the Troubador Wembley Park Theatre, where it’s going to be played in the round for a limited season from 28th November 2022. The award-winning Disney production is being re-imagined especially for the venue and the word on the streets is it’s going to be quite something to experience.

Who’s involved in Newsies?

Newsies is one of the biggest Broadway hits of recent years. The original hit Broadway in 2012 with 100 performances on the cards. It ran for over 1000 performances, toured, won two Tonys, and was filmed live for cinema release in 2017. Based on a true story, Newsies is set in New York City in the late 1800s. The show weaves the tale of a ragged bunch of teen newspaper sellers who dream of a better life away from the streets. Here’s who’s involved.
