The brand-new stage adaptation of Malorie Blackman's much-loved novel, which Dominic Cooke has adapted, will play at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from later this month.

Noughts and Crosses follows Callum and Sephy, two lifelong friends who meet secretly and come from two separate worlds. When Callum is accepted into Cross School, the prestigious school where Sephy attends, will it bring them closer together, or will the hate and fear surrounding them drive them apart? The novel, which was released in 2001, has echoes of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
