New production photos released of Jinkx Monsoon in OH, MARY!

Written by Cole Escola, this off-beat, outrageous dark comedy reimagines the story of Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to the assassination of her husband - US president Abraham Lincoln. In this tongue-in-cheek take on history, Mary is a foul-tempered alcoholic, stuck in an unhappy marriage with the deeply closeted Abe, desperate to relive her glory days as a cabaret dancer.

Jinkx Monsoon makes her West End debut reprising her critically acclaimed performance as Mary Todd Lincoln, a role she sold-out during her 8-week run on Broadway and subsequent encore engagement, which was praised as one of the Best Performances of 2025 by the New York Times. An award-winning actress, comedian, recording artist, and the first and only drag queen to win RuPaul’s Drag Race twice, Monsoon recently played Judy Garland in Peter Quilter’s End of the Rainbow at Soho Theatre, Walthamstow.

She is joined in the cast by Scott Karim as Mary’s Husband, Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher, Kate O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone and Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant. This cast will be performing until 26 September 2026. Lolly Adefope will then take over the role of Mary, with further casting to be announced.

Oh, Mary! is booking at the Trafalgar Theatre until Saturday 2 January 2027.
