Now in its second year, the new cast includes Desmonda Cathabel (Aladdin, UK and Ireland tour) as Eurydice, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Cinderella, Gillian Lynne Theatre) as Persephone, Chris Jarman (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Palace Theatre) as Hades, Cedric Neal (Guys and Dolls, Bridge Theatre) as Hermes and Dylan Wood as Orpheus.

Melanie Bright and Lauran Rae join Allie Daniel as the Fates; Femi Akinfolarin, Michelle Andrews, Ollie Bingham, Laura Delany and Sebastian Lim-Seet will play the Workers, with Lucinda Buckley, Juan Jackson, Oisín Nolan-Power, Lindo Shinda and Jasmine Triadi as Swings.

Hadestown infamously blends American folk music with New Orleans-inspired jazz and takes you on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back. The musical intertwines two mythic love stories that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone.

Hadestown is currently playing at the Lyric Theatre until 28 September 2025.
