Pinocchio - Globe in London
Now booking! Tickets for Pinocchio - Globe are on sale and the show opens at the Globe Theatre on Saturday, 28 November 2026. Book early for the best choice of seats for the opening weeks.
Inspired by the children's book by Carlo Collodi, which itself inspired a beloved Disney animated classic, Pinocchio is the story of a little wooden puppet built by the woodcarver Geppetto and brought to life by the Blue Fairy. Pinocchio, whose nose grows every time he tells a lie, is determined to become a real boy. Stumbling headfirst into trouble at every turn, he embarks on a series of adventures, encountering weird and wonderful characters along the way, where he learns the true meaning of freedom and family, and what really makes you human.
This critically acclaimed musical returns to Shakespeare's Globe, with a book and lyrics by Charlie Josephine (I, Joan, Cowbois), and music and lyrics by Jim Fortune (Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear, Hex), directed by Sean Holmes (Romeo and Juliet, The Merry Wives of Windsor). Playing in the beautiful wintry open air of the Globe Theatre, it's the perfect Christmas play and a delightful festive treat for the whole family, with its moving story, gorgeous puppetry, and powerful message about finding yourself. Adults and children alike will fall in love with this fresh, original take on a familiar story, filled with whimsy, magic, and unforgettable songs.
Book now, and don't miss the return of this magical, whimsical musical.
