We Will Rock You – A futuristic tale of rebellion set to music by Queen

We Will Rock You is high voltage stuff, with a stellar cast of superb singers who make writer Ben Elton’s smash hit futuristic stage show an experience full of pure musical magic.

We Will Rock You –The story

Music industry maverick Freddie Mercury is sorely missed by Queen fans the world over. But We Will Rock You isn’t about the band. This quirky tale tells the futuristic story of the rebellious Galileo and his on-off girlfriend Scaramouche, both residents of the troubled planet Mall. The planet is controlled by a particularly joyless and nasty global corporation and to survive, you need to conform. But conformity is no fun at all, with musical instruments banned. Will Galileo defeat the horrid Killer Queen and bring the planet zinging back to life with much-missed rock music? Or is there failure in the stars?

A Ben Elton comedy classic in the making

Ben Elton created the madcap tongue-in-cheek script and also included some of planet earth’s best loved riffs, which support the storyline to perfection. Clever stuff! A whole host of celebrities have seen and loved the show, so you’ll be in good company. Songbirds Beyoncé and Britney, actor Michael Caine and Little Britain’s Matt Lucas have apparently all had the time of their life watching We Will Rock You.

Ben Elton has apparently created a sequel including twenty more top notch chart toppers by Queen. But it won’t take to the stage ‘til We Will Rock You has bowed out… which, going by current box office sales, might be a very long time indeed!

We Will Rock You songs

Queen fans break out into spontaneous air guitar solos. The casts’ renditions of the great band’s chart hits are impressive to say the least. And the story bundles along at a fine pace, with act one covering Radio Ga Ga, I Want to Break Free, Somebody to Love and Killer Queen, Play the Game, Death on Two Legs and Under Pressure, A Kind of Magic and Don't Stop Me Now. And you’ll be rocking out in your seats to I Want It All, Headlong, No-One But You and Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

Act two delights audiences night after night with One Vision, Who Wants to Live Forever, Flash, The Seven Seas of Rhye, Fat Bottomed Girls, Another One Bites the Dust, Hammer to Fall and seven more glorious tracks from the masters of rock.

We Will Rock You theatre tickets

We provide great seat and ticket availability with a wide choice of seat options, premium and full price tickets as well as discount We Will Rock You tickets, covering the full range of prices to suit every budget. Bear in mind that the show contains strobe lighting.

Please note: There is some mild language. Strobe lighting is used in the performance. Seats labeled CIRC RV are restricted view by a handrail. Customers must be 5'4 in order to see over the handrail clearly. Customers under 5'4 will have the handrail in their view.

A - Ma - ZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen the show before - but Saturday was something else! Atmosphere was incredible! Then to top it all Brian May and Roger Taylor on stage! What a way to spend my birthday!!

The show must go on!

Absolutely amazing, seen we will rock you before & seeing it again didn't disappoint! Was even more incredible this time round! Hope they bring it back very soon!

London Box Office customer

Best show I've seen anywhere in the world ... deserves more than 5 stars

They killed queen!

I love queen and when I realised this show was ending end of may I was desperate to see it. I checked many reviews and most of them was really positive so I was expected to see a real great show. Unfortunately I got so disappointed, the story is really cheesy and boring, the dancers mediocre and the main singers not charismatic enough. They really killed queen's song. I couldn't wait for the show to end!

London Box Office customer

ROCKING SHOW!

One of the last performances performed and still rocking it 12 years after its original opening night :)

GOOD ENTERTAINMENT

If the taxi driver hadn't explained the circumstances of the storyline, I would have had a problem working it out. But he did and I did follow it, though the start was a little weak in the storyline but the acting and the songs made up for it. The second half was much better and the final part was out of this world. The songs-performers - ist class. Great finish. Thank you for an active afternoon. Great to be encouraged to get involved.

London Box Office customer

Brilliant

It's been a number of years since I last saw We Will Rock You and I'd forgotten how amazing it is. The show was fantastic. Great acting, great sets and of course brilliant music and I can't see why it's closing on 31 May. The new air con at the Dominion made it slightly chilly where I was sitting, so take something warm to wear, but otherwise a fantastic show. If you can get there before it closes do it, a trip well worth it.

London Box Office customer

I Want it All, and I don't want it to finish!!

Seriously, if you haven't listened to a Queen album for a while its easy to forget just how FAB those songs are!!! book up now before its too late and don't forget to get your glow sticks for We are the champions at the end!

London Box Office customer

Great Show

What a great show - pity it's coming to an end

London Box Office customer

We love 'We will rock you'

Fab, fab, fab. We went as a family and loved it. We all left the theatre singing the songs and a little sad that the show is coming to the end of its run

London Box Office customer

We were Rocked!

Loved this show, 2nd time of seeing, 1st time for my Daughter as a 16th Birthday treat, her choice. She loved every minute, sang and joined in the whole way through. Laughed and cried (the good die young). We are hoping the show goes on tour as we want to see it again.

London Box Office customer

Praise for We Will Rock You

I just loved the show - over the years I have seen it several times and have been absolutely overwhelmed with the music, the acting and singing - every single aspect. If I had to choose one person who outshone (everyone shone brightly) it would have to be Killer Queen!! Well done everyone from the cast to the Theatre staff.

London Box Office customer

Awesome! Ollie was perfection!

London Box Office customer

Super We will Rock You

Thoroughly enjoyable show. Would love to see the final show, will be fantastic

London Box Office customer

unique show - music from a unique band

Great songs, performed well. The story is certainly corny, but great fun, and references numerous songs and singers. A terrific way to spend 3 hours.

London Box Office customer

WOW!

Fab show. So glad I managed to get tickets before it ends in 2 weeks time. The singing and music was pitch perfect. Well worth a visit if you've not yet managed to see this show.

London Box Office customer

Great show and talented singers

London Box Office customer

excellent show

the show was excellent music and acting vocals were excellent

London Box Office customer

We will Rock you - the last week

A good show, but the story was a little bizarre, don't be fooled that it is really anything to do with Queen - apart from the music

London Box Office customer

best west end show I have seen

6his was the third time that I have seen this show and it was the best show I have seen fantastic

London Box Office customer

Stunning Show

I absolutely loved this show, I went with 2 girlfriends who also loved it! The singing was fabulous, costumes and staging were all excellent, I would love to see the show again, it is a shame that it will be ending in a couple of weeks.

London Box Office customer

London Box Office customer

Best show ever

Go see it you will love it

Theatre - The woman from hell

We had the woman from hell behind us, who screamed all the way through the show, right in our ears. We left the theatre with the most awful headache thanks to her. We asked her to tone it sown a bit and she went louder than ever. She cackled loudly at every line and just screamed constantly when they were singing. Ruined the show for us- which was a shame as I am a huge Queen fan. Very bad experience, sadly

London Box Office customer

3rd time round - still AMAZING

Zany wacky and just so much fun....

A fantastic show and in addition, the theatre front of house staff put themselves out to help with my disabled daughter. Fantastic.

London Box Office customer

Thoroughly enjoyed the show

Enjoyed the show it was like going to a concert listening to Queen music.

London Box Office customer

The show rocks

It immortalised Queen and made a very strong statement on the degredation of the modern industry.

London Box Office customer

celebrating Janice's 60th

really enjoyed the show pity its at the end of the run

London Box Office customer

Well worth seeing

It was truly wonderful. I had tears in my eyes when the young woman who playes 'Freddie' sang 'Only The Good Die Young', I could see him before my eyes. It is so sad it is closing, try and catch it if you have not so far and particularly if you are a Queen fan.

London Box Office customer

Rocked !

Fantastic acting and voices, performed with such passion

London Box Office customer

TOP Class, Just Brilliant

London Box Office customer

Amazing show

Amazing show, great music, very witty, a shame it's closing

London Box Office customer

A must see performance!

London Box Office customer

You certainly Rocked Ne!

London Box Office customer

Lovedrockingouttoqueen

Story line seemed to be a bit vague at times, and although some of the actors were amazing... Killer Queen! ... Some lacked in singing skill/style. However overall the music was amazing. Songs and some of the amazing talent makes up for some of the story vagueness and lesser performers

London Box Office customer

FAB-U-LOS

London Box Office customer

It did Ricj

The show was 100 times better than we expected

London Box Office customer

Fantastic time had by all.

First few minutes were a little worrying - very loud, flashing lights and lots of vibration. My husband being a migraine sufferer was thinking oh no but after 5 or so minutes, when it had all settled down we all really enjoyed it.

London Box Office customer

We Will Rock You

The singing is some of the best I've heard in the West End and it really does the Queen songs justice. You don't have to be a hardcore Queen fan to enjoy this show. Thecast make the audience an important part of the experience and at times it feels almost like a rock concert. Oliver Tompsett's (Galileo Figaro) acting especially was sublime. I really would recommend this show, it's such a shame it has to close.

London Box Office customer

We will rock you

Second time seen we will rock you and didn't disappoint. Took family from New Zealand they said best show they had ever seen

London Box Office customer

the best show ever - amazing and funny

"the show must go on" was missing, but the best show I have ever seen.

London Box Office customer

Very fun show!

This was a fun show featuring some of the great music from Queen. It wasn't deep or thought provoking...it just left you feeling good and singing the Bohemian Rhapsody!

London Box Office customer

Best Show in Town!

Loved this show. Pity it is closing after a long run.

London Box Office customer

Shame it has to end.

London Box Office customer

A memorable great experience

Don't miss this wonderful show before it finishes at end of month

Ben Elton exploits successfully Queens hits. It is an easy win, but singers are fine (spots on the bad princess, really brilliant !) and musicians worth the evening. A must-go for any Queens fan and eighties' nostalgics.
