Beautiful Little Fool, which borrows its name from one of the most famous quotes from The Great Gatsby, will have its world premiere at the Southwark Playhouse Borough in January 2026. Directed by Tony Award nominated Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, Next To Normal, Rent), this electrifying new musical features a book by Mona Mansour (The Vagrant Trilogy) and music and lyrics by Hannah Corneau (Wicked, Renascence). It stars Lauren Ward (Matilda, Dear Evan Hansen, Stranger Things: The First Shadow) as Scottie and Hannah Corneau as Zelda. Music from the concept album has already been released, featuring gorgeously haunting songs like 'One Night in July' and 'So Alive' that capture the tenderness and tragedy of the Fitzgeralds' story and give you a taste of what to expect from this powerful historical musical.
