Hit Machine follows two estranged brothers, one a record mogul and the other a struggling musician. An emotionally charged collision brings them back into each other's lives, and the pair are unwillingly forced into a desperate collaboration, bound by a bruised childhood and divided by their differing levels of success. This explosive play explores themes of brotherhood and male violence, creative theft, and the cost of turning personal pain into art.

Written by Jonathan Caren (The Recommendation) and directed by former Bush Theatre Associate Artistic Director Daniel Bailey (Red Pitch), Hit Machine stars Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother) and Noah Galvin (Dear Evan Hansen) in the lead roles, both making their West End debuts. It features original music by three-time Grammy Award-winner Ben Harper. The play was a finalist for the Eugene O'Neill 2025 National Playwrights Conference and was featured in IAMA's New Works Fest and The Working Theater's Stage Left Festival. Set to a breath-taking soundtrack of unforgettable music, it uses songwriting as a backdrop to tell a story about how men handle shame and build their identities around it.
