Much Ado About Nothing | Globe in London

Welcome to a luxurious paradise in the Globe Theatre this summer as love in its many forms is celebrated in Shakespeare’s timeless comedy, Much Ado About Nothing.

After years of war, an idyllic Italian town is finally back in bloom. But Young lovers Claudio and Hero, and sparring singletons Beatrice and Benedick, soon discover that all is not as it seems in their beautiful surrounds as they become entangled in a series of mischievous games, pranks and plots.

Globe Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes (The Winter’s Tale, ★★★★★ ‘A triumph’ The Telegraph) directs this Elizabethan-dress production.

‘Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps’ Act III, Scene 2

Shakespeare at its most exuberant.

What a treat to be entertained in prose in such a beautiful setting. If you enjoy Shakespeare / do not miss it. If you don’t know Shakespeare well, it’ll be a wonderful experience. Seats are rather uncomfortable with no back (unless you’re at the back) but that’s part of the experience of the then Globe Theatre.
