Full cast announced for 50 FIRST DATES THE MUSICAL

One of the most popular rom-coms of all time, released in 2004 and starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler, is being adapted into a brand-new musical this Autumn.

50 First Dates The Musical will be led by Georgina Castle (Mean Girls) as Lucy Whitmore and Josh St. Clair (Ghost The Musical) as Henry Roth.

Based on an iconic love story, 50 First Dates The Musical follows Henry, who falls in love with Lucy, a woman with short-term memory loss. Every day, Lucy forgets everything that happened the day before, so Henry must win her heart all over again every morning.

With book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen and directed by the multi-Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, 50 First Dates The Musical will feature original songs and share a story that celebrates love, resilience, and second chances.

The production has set and costume design by Fly Davis (Caroline Or Change), lighting design by Aideen Malone (Fiddler on the Roof), video design by George Reeve (Hercules), sound design by Adam Fisher (Sunset Boulevard), hair and makeup design by Cynthia De La Rosa (Barcelona), orchestrations and arrangements by Matthew Jackson (Burlesque) and musical supervision and musical director is Richard Beadle (Hamilton).
