Direct from a debut in New York and an acclaimed, award-winning run at last year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the pop-rock musical will play a limited run in London this Spring.
The cast of World's Greatest Lover. Headshots provided by production.
Led by X Factor winners Matt Terry and Dalton Harris, starring alongside them will be Union J star Jaymi Hensley and West End favourites Joaquin Pedro Valdes (The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical), Leonardo Vieira (Bat Out of Hell) and Alex Hayden (The Book of Mormon).
World’s Greatest Lover features music and book by Julien Salvia, with lyrics and book by Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal. Billed as a bold, high-energy pop-rock musical, the show brings together the most iconic romantics in history in a witty, irreverent and unexpectedly heartfelt exploration of love, desire and identity.
Joshua Bergasse (SMASH) will direct and choreograph the production. The creative team also features set design by Beowulf Boritt (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), costume design by David Woolard (West Side Story) and lighting design by Jason Lyons (Bring It On: The Musical). Casting is by Rob Kelly (Hadestown) and General Management by Thomas Hopkins Productions.
World’s Greatest Lover will play at The Other Palace from 12 April to 7 June.
