Directed by Tony Award winner Tom Morris, the cast features David Harewood as Othello, Toby Jones OBE as Iago, and Caitlin FitzGerald as Desdemona.
Today, it is announced that Vinette Robinson (Emilia, Shakespeare's Globe) will join as Emilia and Luke Treadaway (Cabaret, West End) as Cassio.
This explosive new production, which is set to play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket this autumn, tells an epic story of manipulation, jealousy, and toxic masculinity. Although it has been revived for the London stage many times over the years, Othello will be presented as part of a series of contemporary productions by Tom Morris for Chris Harper Productions over the next five years.
Further casting for this production is to be announced.
With music by PJ Harvey, the creative team consists of Ti Green (Designer), Jon Nicholls (Sound Design and Additional Music), Richard Howell (Lighting Design), Anna Cooper CDG (Casting), Dominic Skinner (Make-up Design), Suzanne Scotcher (Hair & Wigs Design), Katie Henry (Associate Director), Bethan James (Assistant Director), Laila Diallo (Movement Director), Sabia Smith (Costume Supervisor), Mariama Bojang (Assistant Costume Designer), Sheena Linden (Company Manager), Damian Partington (Production Manager) and Samantha Adams (Dramatherapist).
Othello will play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 23 October 2025 to 17 January 2026. It will follow the West End transfer of Til The Stars Come Down that will run from 1 July - 27 September 2025.
Bacchae will play from 13 September to 1 November 2025.
