An Oak Tree by Tim Crouch is an experimental play that explores grief, perception, and the power of theatre. It follows a hypnotist who, after causing a tragic accident, performs a show in which a new, unprepared actor takes on a central role without having read the script beforehand, creating a unique and unpredictable performance each time.
The London run will be directed by Tim Crouch, Karl James and Andy Smith, the play also features music by Peter Gill.
An Oak Tree will play at the Young Vic from 6 - 24 May 2025.
