Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, John Proctor Is The Villain – Broadway) and Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place, Honey Boy) make their West End debuts as Romeo and Juliet in the production directed by Robert Icke.
Joining them are Clare Perkins (Player Kings, West End) as Nurse, John Marquez (Pygmalion, The Old Vic) as Friar Laurence, Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) as Capulet, and Kasper Hilton-Hille (Troilus & Cressida, Shakespeare’s Globe) as Friar John and Mercutio.
Romeo and Juliet tells the unforgettable story of two young lovers who come from feuding families in Verona. Whilst their relationship blossoms, the war between the Montagues and Capulets leads to a series of devastating events.
Joining Icke on the creative team are set and costume designer Hildegard Bechtler (After the Dance), lighting designer Jon Clark (The Lehman Trilogy), sound designer Tom Gibbons (People, Places & Things), and video designer Ash J. Woodward (Dear England).
Romeo and Juliet will now play at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 16 March to 20 June 2026.
