The critically acclaimed "simultaneously epic and intimate" (Hollywood Reporter) new play by David Adjmi, and directed by Daniel Aukin, now plays at the Duke of York's Theatre for a limited West End engagement.

The hot West End transfer of the most Tony Award-nominated play ever follows an ambitious rock band struggling to record their new album in 1976. Stereophonic shares the highs and lows of being on the edge of stardom. Amid a powder keg of drugs, booze, and jealousy, songs come together while relationships fall apart.
The production originally had its World Premiere at Playwrights Horizons before transferring to Broadway on 3 April 2024. Stereophonic snapped up an astounding thirteen nominations at the Tony Awards in 2024 and will also embark on a US tour later this year.
Zachary Hart will lead Stereophonic as the bass player Reg, Lucy Karczewski as the charismatic lead singer Diana, Jack Riddiford as Peter the guitarist and Nia Towle as Holly, the keys player. They are joined by Andrew R. Butler and Eli Gelb as sound engineers Charlie and Grover, and Chris Stack as Simon the drummer, all of whom are reprising their roles from the acclaimed Broadway production.

Stereophonic will play at the Duke of York's Theatre until 20 September 2025.
