About Shrek The Musical Tickets
Shrek The Musical description
Shrek The Musical
is heading to London for a limited season next summer on the tail end of its hugely successful UK Tour. The stage adaptation of the popular 2001 Dreamworks animated movie promises to delight audiences of all ages at the Eventim Apollo.Shrek the Musical tickets – A delight for every age
Shrek the Musical thrills audiences wherever it lands. Produced by Mark Goucher, Matthew Gale and Gavin Kalin, the award-winning Broadway and West End hit show has been reimagined whilst still retaining a lot of the fun that came from the film.
See Anthony Lawrence and Joanna Clifton in Shrek the Musical
Antony Lawrence plays Shrek, Joanne Clifton plays Princess Fiona, James Gillan as Lord Farquaad, Brandon Lee Sears is Donkey, and Cherece Richards is the Dragon.
Theatre legend Antony Lawrence’s huge, powerful voice is exactly what’s needed for the role. What a treat. He also delighted us in The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Matilda the Musical, and We Will Rock You.
The Strictly Come Dancing star and leading lady Joanne Clifton is amazing as Princess Fiona, a talent who has raised the rafters with a role in The Addams Family. Then there’s the Olivier nominated James Gillan, who plays a convincing villain in the shape of Lord Farquaad. He has previously worked on Starlight Express, the Royal Festival Hall's Peter Pan, Taboo, Tommy, and Wicked.
Brandon Lee Sears’ dazzling performance does the part of the loveable Donkey proud, with previous hit roles in Dreamgirls, Come From Away, and Motown.
All about Shrek the Musical – The fun starts here
Get ready to leave your troubles behind. This is an adventure and a half, and it’s full of BIG fun. You’ll meet Shrek and his friend Donkey, who take on a quest to defeat the fearsome Dragon and rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona.
The plot is always heart-warming, always unforgettable, and the music will keep your toes tapping. If you’ve already heard "I'm A Believer", "Big Bright Beautiful World" and "I Know It's Today", you’ll be thrilled to bits. If you haven’t heard the show tunes before, you’ll be just as thrilled.
Expect a gorgeous night out for the whole family, and an award-winning show whose sets and costumes are just as magical as the music and the story.

This was a Christmas present for my elderly parents but due to bad weather conditions and the fact they were unable to get out of their drive they were unable to watch it. I tried to change the date of the performance but was unable to do so.. I think on this occasion the tickets could have been transferred to another date as it was not my parents fault they were unable to travel. This experience has made me doubt whether I will use this service again. Our cinema gladly gave us a refund on our tickets for Friday because of the weather !!!

Excellent show, very funny, thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend it to others. Only criticism was seating. Not much space and ended up with all members of party fidgeting, cramp in legs. Some members of party had to go and stand elsewhere.

Took my partner to watch this, now bearing in mind we are your average couple in our mid 30s I just found it a little on the silly side. Great voices great costumes and stage effects but I feel this would have been better suited for families with children.

The trip was a birthday present for my best friend and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. The only criticism we would make is that the Orchestra was too loud in places and drowned out the singing which was a shame as all the cast members had very good voices.

2 young children sat in front of us with, who we assumed to be, their grandmother and her friend. The youngest child could not sit still 4 long, the grandparent had little control and had to be asked several times to control the children, avoid disrupting the other members of the audience and to stop using her mobile phone. The show was great but ruined by people who have no idea how to behave in that environment.
