What is Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical about?
We all know the plot. The setting is Rydell High. Danny is too cool for school, too scared to make a romantic fool of himself in front of the guys in his gang, the T-Birds. Sandy is sweet and innocent, madly in love with Danny and baffled at his strange behaviour. Will they get together or will their fledgling love die? Except this time, you get to be part of the action. This extraordinary two-and-a-half-hour show brings Grease to vibrant life with a cast of 30 actors, singers and dancers. The tunes from the movie are performed on multi-screen platforms, blurring the line between screen and real life in a brilliantly interactive way. You’re The One That I Want, Beauty School Dropout, Greased Lightnin', Look At Me I’m Sandra Dee, and of course the all-time classic Summer Nights are all there, bringing the plot to life and surrounding the audience. There's live music, themed food and drink, and even a fairground.

Like you are living itMe and my daughter went to see the show ,we absolutely loved it .loved how they got the audience involved in parts of the story,the band was great the dancing was good .My only advice would be go for seated as me and my daughter done a few hrs travelling and a bit of sightseeing before the show and it would of nice to be able to sit and get up when we wanted to.Also we turned up with about 45 minutes till the show started and bought tickets for all the rides we wanted to go on but there wasn't enough time ,but we got told we could come out while the show was on,which we did to have a shot .

A must see!!Right from the start of entering the Rydall High funfair ground I was immediately in high spirits. I was with a friend and we had the most amazing time. I would suggest arriving early before the show starts to enjoy the surroundings, fairground rides and enjoying some food and drinks plus allowing for queues at the merchandise stall and purchasing tickets for the rides. Once the show starts it just took a while to adjust to seeing the film played on the screens and seeing parts of the film played live but it was great to take part and be able to move freely around and dance. The best part was ending the show outside, I was buzzing and all the way back to our hotel we was singing. Would recommend this to those that love grease!!

Fantastic showWe were not sure what to expect at this show, but if you are a fan of the film, we are certain, like us, you will find the show a wonderful experience. The dancing, sets, band and acting was superb from start to finish. We had seats in the drive in, which had a great view, but when we go again, and we will, we will just get the 'roaming' tickets as you are more involved in the show. The only negatives was the quality and price of the food, which we felt was excessive, and of poor quality. We would recommend you eat before you arrive.

Hybrid doesn’t workDisappointing. Would have preferred just a good screening of the film. Understanding the interactivity, this came across as messy and disjointed. Stage should have been left for actors only. Idea of sitting in (behind) car(s) (facade) looked great on approach but would have been better if actual cars. Didn’t know where to look as so much going on so just sat and watched the screen. Thought dubbing was awful until realised that the actors were singing. Would have been better as either just a film or get rid of the film (as the acting couldn’t compete) and just have it all acted really well on a central stage (with no interaction)

A trip down memory laneI had no expectation of this immersive show. I was given a warm welcome and entered Rydell High. Over the next two and a half hours, I was reminded of the timeless, feel good music of an iconic film/music. I remember every word and scence and joined in with all the actors' dance moves. I felt part of something bigger than just enjoying great music. We all had a commonality; we love the music from Grease. I'd recommend this experience to anybody who remembers the original fim/music, or who would like a new experience. I thoroughly enjoyed and would like to attend similar shows in the future.
