Love Never Dies in Concert in London
Love Never Dies, directed by Shaun Kerrison (Titanic the Musical), is the spectacular sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. It's been ten years since the Phantom fled Paris with the help of Madame Giry and her daughter Meg, who helped him escape to America. There, he continues making his music, and has opened a lavish amusement park on Coney Island. Still haunted by his love for Christine Daae, he lures her along with her husband Raoul and their young son Gustave, to come sing at his park. The story of passion, obsession, and desire continues.
First appearing in the West End in 2010, with music and a book by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Love Never Dies will return in a special concert event that forms part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera in the West End. Jamie Muscato (One Day, The Great Gatsby) will play the Phantom, with Celinde Schoenmaker (Guys & Dolls, Les Miserables) making her return as Christine. The Phantom of the Opera has been a beloved staple of the West End for years, enchanting audiences with its thrilling story and ethereal score, and its less famous but equally iconic sequel promises to continue the magic, luring audiences into the maddened, musical world of the Phantom with even more stunning songs and the characters you loved from the original.
This one-of-a-kind event is only on for two nights, so grab your tickets and don’t miss your chance to see the Phantom’s story continue.
