Adapted from the four-time Academy Award-winning 1952 classic film, High Noon takes you back to the American West in the 1900s. The love between Will Kane and Amy Fowler is tested when the deadly outlaw returns to their town in the high noon train and Will must choose between facing his old nemesis or running. Packed with epic themes about courage vs cowardice, justice vs peace, and duty vs desire, this thrilling stage play will resonate will audiences as much as the film did over sixty years ago.
High Noon is diected by Olivier Award-winner Thea Sharrock (The Bodyguard, Equus, After the Dance) and written by Academy Award-winner and six-time nominee Eric Roth (Forrest Gump, The Insider, Munich, Dune), with set and costume design by Tim Hatley, lighting design by Neil Austin, music by Chris Egan, and sound design by Nick Lidster.
Emmy and Tony Award-winner Billy Crudup as Will Kane and Olivier Award-winner Denise Gough as Amy Fowler are joined by Billy Howle, Rosa Salazar, Simon Chandler, James Doherty, Misha Handley, Joshua Hill, Jonah Russell, Rebecca Lee and Tim Steed.
The production images show Crudup and Gough, along with the rest of the cast, in full Wild West get-up, showcasing Tim Hatley's intricate and meticulously researched costume design. Hinting at scenes that are tense, romantic, and dramatic, the play promises to be as iconic and unforgettable as the original film.
