Louisa May Alcott's 1868 coming-of-age novel, Little Women, tells the story of four sisters on the cusp of adulthood, and no heroine has enchanted and fascinated audiences as much as bold, rebellious, imaginative Jo March. Now, witness Jo's story onstage for the first time as she navigates her career as a passionate writer in a male-dominated world while grappling over her grief over losing her sister. The world premiere of Jo: The Little Women is coming to London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane in a highly anticipated semi-staged concert that brings to life Louisa May Alcott's beloved novel to life in a thrilling new musical. The musical features an all-star cast including Christine Allado (Hamilton) as Jo March, with Kerry Ellis (Wicked) as Marmee, Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!) as Laurie, Julian Ovenden (My Fair Lady) as Father, Tracie Bennett (Follies) as Aunt March, and Kelly Mathieson (The Phantom of the Opera) as Meg March. With a timeless score by Dan Redfield, and book and lyrics by Christina Harding and John Gabriel Koladziej, Jo: The Little Women Musical is directed and choreographed by JoAnn M.
