Jolly Christmas music and cascading snow flakes greet you as you enter the National Theatre’s smallest auditorium for this alternative seasonal show. But anyone who knows the playwright/Director Anthony Neilson’s work will realise the bonhomie isn’t going to last long.

The New Wimbledon Theatre can feel cold and cavernous so the first thing I’d like to say is what an unusual delight it was to see how warm, welcoming and smiley the front of house staff were. It really contributed to a fun and festive pre-show atmosphere.

Low Key Casting Announced for the West End premiere of Broadway musical Waitress

Further casting has been announced for the UK premiere of WAITRESS which opens at the Adelphi Theatre in just under two months, on 8th February.
A musical of this size is likely to get at least 5 weeks rehearsal so the cast will spend Christmas looking forward to an imminent start to full preparations.
