BACKSTAIRS BILLY is performing for a limited season at the Duke of York's Theatre from 27 October 2023 until 27 January 2024.
The new comedy play written by Marcelo Dos Santos will look at a pivotal moment in the relationship between the Queen Mother and her loyal servant William "Billy Tallon". A relationship that spun over the course of 50 years. BACKSTAIRS BILLY is focused on the year 1979 when a huge change is about to take place in Britain. However, it's business as usual in the Clarence House where receptions are in full swing and the champagne continues to flow as the two worlds begin to collide with stark consequences.
