PADDINGTON THE MUSICAL releases new song and announces cast album release

The new musical, currently playing at the Savoy Theatre, has unveiled a snippet of a fresh song and shared exciting news about a casting album.

A cast recording of Paddington the Musical is coming out in 2026! It will be released by Decca Records in March 2026, with a vinyl edition planned for May. The complete West End cast and full orchestra recorded it at Abbey Road Studios.

With music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher, book by Jessica Swale, and directed by Luke Sheppard, Paddington the Musical is based on the beloved book A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond and the StudioCanal films.

The cast includes James Hameed (Just For One Day - The Live Aid Musical (The Old Vic/CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre/Shaftesbury Theatre) as the Off-stage Performer and Remote Puppeteer for Paddington, Arti Shah (The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power) as the On-Stage Performer. They join Amy Booth-Steel (The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, Chichester Festival Theatre) as Lady Sloane, Tarinn Callender (Hamilton, Victoria Palace Theatre) as Grant, Delilah Bennett-Cardy (Bugsy Malone, UK Tour) as Judy Brown, Adrian Der Gregorian (Made in Dagenham, Adelphi Theatre) as Mr Brown, Tom Edden (Oliver!, Theatre Royal Drury Lane) as Mr Curry, Brenda Edwards (Chicago, UK Tour) as Tanya, Amy Ellen Richardson (Matilda The Musical, Cambridge Theatre) as Mrs Brown, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Hadestown, Lyric Theatre) as Millicent Clyde, Teddy Kempner (Girl from the North Country, Old Vic) as Mr Gruber, and Bonnie Langford (Sondheim's Old Friends, Gielgud Theatre) as Mrs Bird.
