The smash-hit production, hailed by the Daily Telegraph as 'excellent family drama', will be staged at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 1 July and will be directed by the Olivier Award-winning director Bijan Sheibani.

Till the Stars Come Down, written by Beth Steel, centres on a larger-than-life family coming together to celebrate a wedding. As Sylvia and Marek tie the knot, the vodka flows, the dancing begins, and long-buried tensions surface. With emotions running high, the limits of love and loyalty are pushed to their extremes. Premiering at the Dorfman Theatre in 2024, this heartfelt, funny, and emotionally charged production received widespread critical acclaim and earned an Olivier Award nomination for Best New Play.
Reprising their roles are Lucy Black (Top Girls, National Theatre) as Hazel, Sinéad Matthews (The Antipodes, National Theatre) as Sylvia, Philip Whitchurch (Boys from the Blackstuff, Royal Court Liverpool/National Theatre) as Uncle Pete and Alan Williams (Faith, Hope and Charity, National Theatre) as Tony.
They will be joined by Dorothy Atkinson (Ludwig, BBC; Saltburn, Warner Bros) as Aunty Carol, Adrian Bower (Gangs of London, Sky; Teachers, BBC) as John, Julian Kostov (The White Lotus, HBO; Shadow and Bone, Netflix) as Marek, Aisling Loftus (Girls and Boys, Nottingham Playhouse; Sherwood, BBC)as Maggie and Ruby Thompson (Three Sisters, Shakespeare’s Globe; Aftersun, Mubi) as Leanne. Further casting for the production is to be announced.
Til the Stars Come Down will play at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 1 July - 27 September 2025. The production will follow The Deep Blue Sea, which stars Tamsin Greig, from 7 May - 21 June 2025 and the summer season of The Tiger Who Came To Tea that will run for select performances alongside Til The Stars Come Down.
