Four Play in London
After seven years of being the perfect couple, Rafe and Pete are in a rut. Since neither of them has ever been with anyone aside from each other, they decide to introduce a third into their relationship, their mutual friend Michael, who also happens to be in a relationship. Their foray into sexual experimentation rapidly descends into a chaotic web of desire, betrayal, and vulnerability.
Four Play first premiered at the Old Vic ten years ago, and this will be its first major revival. This sassy, clever play is written by Jake Brunger, the critically acclaimed writer and lyricist behind musicals such as The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole aged 13¾, and The Great British Bake Off: The Musical. The cast includes musical theatre gems such as Daniel Bravo (Mean Girls) as Michael, Lewis Cornay (The Spongebob Musical) as Rafe, Jo Foster (Why Am I So Single?) as Andy, and Zheng Xi Yong (Your Lie in April) as Pete. Described by director Jack Sain as a ‘a chaotic cuddle of a play, full of catty cackles, crises and caresses', this witty, provocative comedy will make you laugh, cry, and rethink everything you know about love in the modern age.
