What's the show about?
Twelve 'good men and true' convene in a jury room, with murder on their minds and a life in their hands as they decide the fate of a young delinquent accused of killing his father.

But what appears to be an open and shut case soon becomes a burning dilemma, as their prejudices and preconceived ideas about the accused, the trial and each other collide, ratcheting the tension to breaking point and setting the stage for a nail-biting climax.

Why should I see it?
Sidney Lumet's 1957 movie starring Henry Fonda was nominated for three Academy Awards and is acknowledged as a masterpiece. It's genuinely timeless, and even more taut and visceral on stage.

TV's Judge John Deed and one of Britain's leading stage actors, Martin Shaw fights for justice once more, stepping into Henry Fonda's shoes in the central role of Juror #8.

Striking sparks against him is Robert Vaughn, TV's Man From U.N.C.L.E and star of Hustle, The Magnificent Seven and Bullitt. Lost's Jeff Fahey and Lock Stock's Nick Moran contribute tough, masterful performances that ensure the suspense grips throughout.

What should I do now?
Our verdict is that Twelve Angry Men on stage is unmissably excellent. But, you, the jury, must decide. Book by Friday and get top price seats for £33.50.†
